Lonely Moon Over Dark Shapes

Moon and Silhouettes
Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ On a sultry summer evening, the moon lingered behind dark boughs
~
It is so sad
When a sacred space
Chokes on
Invading brambles
And wild weeds…
When promises
Melt into surreal
Alternative truths
Masquerading as
Lush grapes
Nobly fermenting into
Tomorrow’s treasured wines
~
Invisible gifts are
Priceless
Relics of
Dark intruders
Longing to promote
A formless ego
~
Sometimes
I feel like a silvered moon
Sadly passing
A maze of silhouettes
Seeking
A window
On my own
Sacred view
Of earth
~
