To a new generation
It is just
A peeling past ~
Like blurred
Ruptured landscapes
Discordant with
New lifestyles
~
But for someone
It is still
A sacred
Glimpse of
Some Eden
Still breathing
Somewhere

isn’t that the truth.. i remember once as children my mom saw the house she had grown up with on the news as one that was scheduled to be demolished so that they could infuse a run down area with new life.. the very next day she and my aunt went to the house.. old decrepit abandoned,, and walked her halls.. took pictures in the room s that once seemed so huge,, and had grown small and dim over the years.. a place remains in the heart,, and whether or not it is still physically there or not,, in our memories it lives forever…

    oh i loved this……..

    Hello,

You’re work is inspiring and I would like to enquire you entering or even getting a competition inspired by Paul Laurence Dunbar’s ‘The Debt’ featured on your website.

The details can be found at: http://www.talkaboutdebt.co.uk/community/2008/09/debt-free-poetry-to-inspire-action/

The prize fund is what I think is significant, but we’re relative novices at running competitions.

I would welcome you input and assistance and please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.

    Kind regards,

    Matt Roberts
