Dromana Pier

Once the busy hub of lime burning

And the pier was the heart of shipping

~

Once laden with pastoral runs

And orchards colouring the nearby mountain

~

Dromana wandered into new worlds

Offering leisure and light by the sea

Gaudy bathing boxes lined the shores

And campers dreamed under summer stars

~

Today Dromana is an escape

From Melbourne peak hours and pressures

Many stroll or run by the shoreline

Some sit on the pier and go fishing
