And shadowy ~
(Musing on
Clarity and
Motion) ~
Some
Walk into
The learning circle
With steady
Determined stride
Riding the pulse
Of automatic reaction ~
(Perhaps surprised by
The occasional
Flicker of
Enthusiasm)

Some
Still only know
The joy of innocence ~
Believing progress
Is all bound up
In a mini bike
~
While others
Neither walk nor ride and
Take centre stage
Defiantly ~
Arms akimbo ~
Waiting for
Some miracle to
Just happen
